               A DAUGHTER'S LOVE

Synopsis: This poem is all about a girl that confessed her feelings and ways of living with her parents, in a time that she was born, and encountered to loved and be loved by her parent’s. That when all  the time they were  together, experiences and memories being in them is her treasures.
 In times of sadness and problems she had, her parents are the only one who understand and there for her. In times of failures and problems, her parents are always there to cheer for her up. Time to time as she walked for her future, she had this promises to return everything, loved and be loved. A promised of a daughter's love.

Ever since I was little you were right by my side
Even though it may not always have been the right decision you were always along for the ride
I never realized how important you were to me until I left home
Now my eyes light up every time that you call my phone

Dad and mom, you were so young when I came
I can't even imagine how things might have been
You weren't like other young dads and moms who get up and go out
You stayed by our side without a doubt

I am so much like you in everything that you do
I have always been like that even as a little girl too
I remember getting up early and going to work with you all day
No matter how colorless it was with you I would stay

It kills me out that it took moving out to see how much having a lovely parents meant to me

It's amazing how much it made me open my eyes and see
If anything ever happened to you I don't know what I would do

How I truly feel is one thing I have never told you

All little kids have that one person they look up to
But in my heart and my soul I have both of you
 A person that can do no wrong no matter what they do
You are my hero my life my everything that always have been
Not only you guys are my parents but rather you’ve been my best friends.

Time passed as I grow in a small town
As I grow in a home with full of love and harmony
As I grow I realized time not to be wasted
As our god the father says life of the earth will be ended
I’m afraid, father I’m afraid.
Why the life needs to be ended?
why my parents needs to get old? when they can be young creatures as I always told.
But life has an end, but still afraid to meet that end.
Love… love that gives me life, as you are my hero that cause me from sorrow
You always taught me to loved and be loved.
 And I’m so lucky I experienced that feelings.

Time passed as I grow in a small town
As I grow in a small home with full of love and harmony
You give your whole heart to me,
without anything in return but a perfect smile on my face
You give your effort and life to me,
without asking anything but to obey the rules of the family
You give your all to me,
without a condition but a warm hug and kisses I always be wanting for.
Mama, Papa. In times of trials and failures I give to the both of you,
Mistakes that I’m always doing as being routines already.
You never raised your hands nor your voice to correct my mistakes,
But you give your advises just to remind me everyday.
Mama, Papa. In times of sadness and problems I’ve encountered,
You were always there to comfort me,
motivate me to never give up in every obstacles in life.
But in times of trials and failures you have brought,
I never give my advice nor empathy with you.
In times of sadness and problems you have encountered,
 I never give my presence nor my help with you.
Mama, Papa. I’m sorry if I’ve been a useless daughter,
I sometimes disobeyed your rules and presence,
Being mad if I didn’t receive such wonderful stuffs that I requested,
Being stubborn and learn to fight with you as you never expected.
All those things I came to realized how bad it is,
How bad that I never give importance your efforts and love,
Your hard-working, your kindness, you presence, your concerns.
I am sorry for everything my papa and mama. I’m sorry if I committed mistakes.
I’m sorry if I only think of my own, I’m sorry if I didn’t show how much I love you nor whispering the words in the air.
In a way of talking to God to give my love for you, talking Him how I adored you.

And now as I grow in a small town.
I have my oath to return every thing you have given
Everything you gave will never be in vain, but I will push it with flying colors.
I promised to cherish you my parents, I promised to love and live you with a bright future
I promised to give my heart my soul same as you gave to me.
I promised to treasure all you sacrifices and moments we have shared as one.
I promised to look up with you always as the world change.
I promised to hold you forever as the world will end.
